More reports are coming out of an attack that started with an explosion by the Al-Shabaab group in the area of \u200b\u200bAad in the Mudug region.<\/p>\n

Al-Shabaab launched an attack in the early hours of the morning on the base of the government forces and those of the local people in the Aad area, and there was a fierce battle between the two sides and they used different types of weapons.<\/p>\n

Sources in the area told the media that the war caused various losses on both sides, but it is not possible to confirm the total official loss.<\/p>\n

Officials from the country’s armed forces told the government media that they defended themselves against the Al-Shabaab attack in Aad and defeated the group and are still chasing them.<\/p>\n

Al-Shabaab claimed success in the attack they carried out this morning in the Aad area of \u200b\u200bMudug region, and inflicted heavy losses on the army stationed at the base.<\/p>\n

Aad area is one of the last areas to be taken over by Al-Shabaab, and it is being reported that the situation in the area is calm.<\/p>\n
