Today, Friday, the football stadium Mogadishu Stadium in Mogadishu will be officially opened for the competition of the regional administrations of the country and Banadir region.<\/p>\n

This year, five teams from the South West, Galmudug, Hirshabeelle, Jubbaland and Banadir regions are participating in the regional and Banadir regional games.<\/p>\n

It is also planned that this competition will be inaugurated today by the Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, and the first match will be played today by the teams of Galmudug and Hir-Shabelle administrations.<\/p>\n

The Puntland government did not participate in this year’s competition, which previously said it would not participate, and the team representing the SSC Khatuma administration, which the federal government recently recognized as an interim administration, was excluded from the competition.<\/p>\n

The general security of the roads entering and exiting the football stadium in Mogadishu has been greatly strengthened today, and many soldiers are seen on the roads.<\/p>\n

A large number of people who support the teams of the regional governments of the country are going to watch the football competition between the regional administrations and the Banadir region, whose first match will be played between Galmudug and Hirshabelle today.<\/p>\n
