Somali citizens who were imprisoned in Moscow in Russia were returned to the country today.<\/p>\n

These citizens numbered 16 citizens including men and women who were imprisoned in a prison in the country of Russia, who were arrested as migrants.<\/p>\n

Some of these young people who were brought back to the country today and spoke to the media at Adan Adde airport in Mogadishu said they are happy to be brought back to their country.<\/p>\n

“I am happy that our government has released us from a prison where we have been in prison for 30 days and we have been suffering. I am happy to be back in my country,” said one of the youths who were released from a prison in Moscow.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Somalia, which brought these young people back to the country, said that it is committed to bring back to the country the citizens who are imprisoned in different prisons in the country.<\/p>\n

It is not the first time that the government of Somalia has brought back Somali citizens imprisoned abroad, and it has already brought back young people imprisoned in countries such as Libya and India.<\/p>\n
