Somalia’s armed forces, supported by the Galmudug Darwish army and local residents, this morning have completely taken over the Al-Shabaab group in areas in the South of Mudug region.<\/p>\n

The areas that were taken over by the cooperating forces are Dhagaxdheer and Dahar Ali Khaylow, which are under the city of Aad in the south of Mudug.<\/p>\n

The officers who led the operation told the national media that the forces are still conducting an operation to chase the Al-Shabaab members who were removed from these areas under the city of Aad.<\/p>\n

The officials also said that they will continue this type of operation to remove Al-Shabaab from all the areas where they are in Mudug region.<\/p>\n

The government forces and the Galmudug dervishes with the help of the local people have been conducting operations against the Al-Shabaab group in the southern areas of Mudug region of Galmudug regional administration.<\/p>\n
