The Minister of Internal Affairs of Puntland, Abdi Farah Saeed Juha said the federal government is working hard to influence the Puntland elections.<\/p>\n

Minister of Interior Mr. Juxa said, the federal government wants to get the president of Puntland who will give progress to its political agenda of amending the country’s constitution and elections.<\/p>\n

“The agenda is, Villa Somalia wants to have involvement in the elections in Puntland, and for Puntland to decide its own destiny and negotiate independently. That’s where it is,” said Juxa.<\/p>\n

“Hasan Sheikh refused to talk to us. He occupied the eighth of January, trying to make this government disappear. We also caught the ninth of January. Who comes and fodder,” concluded Juxa.<\/p>\n

The statement of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Puntland coincided with the arrival in Garowe today of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somalia, Abshir Omar Haruse, who was nominated for the post of President of Puntland.<\/p>\n

Minister Haruse resigned this morning to focus on the Puntland presidential election.<\/p>\n
