<\/p>\nThe Ministry of Information of the Federal Government of Somalia has given more details about the joint operation of the government forces and international friends that took place last night in the South of Mudug region.<\/p>\n
The operation was said to have taken place in the Shabeelow area, targeting members of Al-Shabaab who were hiding in the forest in the area in the south of Mudug.<\/p>\n
A press release from the Ministry of Information said that 20 members of the Al-Shabaab group were killed in the operation, and the vehicles of the militants were destroyed and weapons, food, medicine and explosives were destroyed.<\/p>\n
“Shabellow, which was attacked by the Khawarij a few days ago, is a place where the Khawarij militias are trying to take refuge in the south of Mudug region, and it is surrounded by the National Army and the local heroes who have cleared the Khawarij before. many in Mudug region” was said in the press release from the Ministry of Information of Somalia.<\/p>\n
