The attack caused heavy losses to the army.<\/p>\n<p>This soldier named Pow Sergeant M. William, 48 years old, joined the Ugandan army in 1997. In April 2023, he was working at the army camp in Buulo Mareer, before he was attacked on the 26th.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My message to the Government of Uganda, the president and the parliament. I am proving to you that I am alive. We ask you to keep in mind that we are prisoners, and you are the only hope we are waiting for to make an effort to get us out of prison,&#8221; said this soldier.<\/p>\n<p>The soldier asked the Ugandan government to find any possible solution.
