The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, opened the meeting of the National Consultative Council of the federal and regional governments in the city of Dhusamareb.<\/p>\n

In this meeting, which is again absent from Puntland, the security situation of the country, the completion of the liberation operations, the stabilization of the areas removed from Al-Shabaab and the delivery of basic services to the community will be discussed.<\/p>\n

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud told the presidents of the states to prepare for the second phase of the liberation of the country.<\/p>\n

This meeting came as the state government of Galmudug is about to be freed from al-Shabaab, as the forces liberated the largest city of al-Shabaab in Galgaduud region, Eelbur.<\/p>\n

It is the first meeting of the president in Dhusomareb city with the leaders of the regional governments and Banadir region. They met earlier in Baidoa.<\/p>\n

The heads of the regional governments have praised President Hassan Sheikh for fighting a real war against al-Shabaab. And they say that they will stand by the government.<\/p>\n
