A large protest against the government’s arrest of Ahmed Ali Sheegow, known as Gen. He said, it happened today in some parts of Mogadishu.<\/p>\n

Thousands of civilians, who are familiar with the arrested officer, gathered at KM4 road and Danwadaga road, describing the arrest of the officer as illegal and the way the government forces treated him when they arrested him.<\/p>\n

The protestors stopped the movement of people and traffic, although later the government forces using live ammunition dispersed the protestors.<\/p>\n

Some of those who spoke to the media said that Gen. He said he was illegally imprisoned and used as a clan. They called on the president to immediately restore his freedom.<\/p>\n

The protestors said that they will continue the protest until they are released from Shegow.<\/p>\n

No casualties were reported as a result of the protests, although protesters damaged the roads, burning tires.<\/p>\n
