The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, who is in Tanzania and participated in the African Summit for the Development of Human Power, had a special meeting with the President of Kenya, William Ruto.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Hamse discussed with the President of Kenya William Ruto the strengthening of relations and cooperation in security, trade and traffic between the two countries.<\/p>\n

The two officials also discussed the importance of the two countries in the fight to eliminate the Al-Shabaab group that is fighting in Somalia and parts of Kenya.<\/p>\n

“Prime Minister Hamsa discussed with President Ruto the facilitation of entry (visa) in this regard, which was agreed to be completed in meetings scheduled for both sides. Based on the development and empowerment of the youth and the promotion of education, President Ruto has accepted from the Prime Minister that the Kenyan government will train 1000 teachers who will teach the different levels of education in Somalia,” a statement from the Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre’s office said.<\/p>\n

This meeting is coming, while the government of Somalia is still planning for frontline countries to participate in the second phase of operations against the Al-Shabaab group, which is intended to liberate the entire country from Al-Shabaab.<\/p>\n
