More reports are coming out of a serious battle that took place last night in Geriley area of \u200b\u200bGedo region, between Jubbaland Darwish forces and Al-Shabaab.<\/p>\n

The battle came after Al-Shabaab fighters launched a strong attack on the Geriley base, which was one of the bases recently vacated by the African Union ATMIS forces, especially those from Kenya, and had been in control there for the past few days. Jubbaland Dervish army.<\/p>\n

The fight which the local residents said was very strong and used different types of weapons caused a loss of death and injury which cannot be confirmed in its entirety.<\/p>\n

The latest reports say that Jubbalad forces are still in control of the Geriley area in Gedo region, after they resisted the Al-Shabaab attack, as confirmed to the media by Jubbalad Security Minister Yusuf Hussein Osman Dhumal.<\/p>\n

Jubbaland region is one of the areas where Al-Shabaab is still strong, and it often carries out direct and explosive attacks on Jubbaland and Kenyan army positions in those areas.<\/p>\n
