The President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has welcomed the decisions of the United Nations Security Council regarding the situation in the city of Lasanod.<\/p>\n

President Hassan Sheikh called for an opportunity to be given the emergency and emergency aid needed by the local people, and to create an environment suitable for reconciliation and a peaceful solution.<\/p>\n

Also, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud reinforced the government’s call to address the regional crisis, which was based on a non-arms solution to the conflict in Lasanod.<\/p>\n

Hassan Sheikh said that the Federal Government of Somalia is committed to playing its role in peace and facilitating negotiations, in order to end the conflict.<\/p>\n

The President of Somalia made this statement at a dinner meeting with the SSC delegation in Mogadishu last night.<\/p>\n

The president was accompanied to the meeting by the Prime Minister of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre.<\/p>\n

However, the security council last night issued resolutions saying that Somaliland troops should be immediately withdrawn from Lascaanod.<\/p>\n
