The Speaker of the Jubbaland State Parliament, Abdi Mohamed Abdirahman, announced today that Jubbaland has moved from a regional administration to a state.<\/p>\n

Speaker Abdi Mohamed Abdirahman said that they have changed the constitution, which has led to the change from the name of a regional state to the Jubbaland state.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, the constitution has removed the regional state from the Federal Government. The parliament is sitting, we have removed the members, and now it is the Jubbaland election,\u201d said the Speaker of the Jubbaland State Parliament, Abdi Mohamed Abdirahman.<\/p>\n

The Speaker of the Jubbaland State made this statement at the 8th Jubbaland Health Conference, when the Jubbaland Council of Ministers complied with the Constitution and issued the new name for the Jubbaland election.<\/p>\n

However, the tension between the two sides of Somalia and the Jubbaland administration has been one of the most intense tensions, and there has been no news from the Somali federal election regarding the decision announced by Jubbaland.<\/p>\n
