The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, and a delegation he is leading are set to travel to Kismayo, the temporary capital of the Jubbaland administration, today.<\/p>\n

President Hassan Sheikh\u2019s trip to Kismayo today is part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between the federal government and the Jubbaland administration, whose relations have been very bad in the past few years.<\/p>\n

The President will hold face-to-face meetings in Kismayo with the President of the Jubbaland administration, Ahmed Mohamed Islam Madoobe, and it is expected that these meetings will greatly change the political conflict between the Federal Government and Jubbaland, which has on several occasions caused wars that have caused various losses of life and property.<\/p>\n

The points that the two sides will focus on in their meetings are said to include stopping statements and actions that cause political tension and estrangement, and replacing them with dialogue and new cooperation between the two sides.<\/p>\n
