More information is emerging about a planned operation carried out by the Macawisley forces in the Hiran region in the Waab Wayn area, one of the areas under the Mahaas district of the Hiran region.<\/p>\n

The Macawisley forces were reported to have engaged in heavy fighting in the area with members of the Al-Shabaab militia who were there.<\/p>\n

The fighting was very intense, with both sides using various types of weapons, and the sound of heavy weapons could be heard from far away in Waab Wayn.<\/p>\n

There were casualties and injuries in the fighting, but the total number of casualties on both sides is not yet officially known, and there is no information from the parties about the casualties in the fighting.<\/p>\n

The officers leading the Macawisley local forces said that the aim of the operation was to prevent the group from expanding into many areas in the eastern part of the Hiran region.<\/p>\n
