The opposition members who recently left the Salvation Army, which reached an agreement with the Federal Government of Somalia yesterday, are set to meet with members of the International Community in Mogadishu in the coming hours today.<\/p>\n

Preliminary reports indicate that these members will share with the International Community Representatives the agreement they reached with the Federal Government regarding the process of holding the next elections in the country and to launch a party to compete with the current leadership in power.<\/p>\n

Yesterday\u2019s agreement between these members, who were among the prominent officials of the opposition, has given a new face to the political situation in the country, especially the serious disagreement between the government and the opposition leaders regarding electoral issues.<\/p>\n

However, last night, a special meeting was held in Mogadishu by these opposition members who left the Salvation Army, which was related to the consultation regarding the meeting they will hold with the International Community today.<\/p>\n

The members of the agreement with the federal government have previously held various positions in the country, including former Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke, former Speakers of Parliament Sharif Hassan Sheikh Aden, Mohamed Mursal, and former Minister of Information Dahir Mohamud Gelle.<\/p>\n

There has been no news yet from the opposition, which is still united in the Salvation Army, regarding the members who left the council in the agreement reached with the leaders of the Federal Government of Somalia, but it is expected that they will issue an official statement in the coming hours.<\/p>\n
