Former Somali Prime Ministers Mohamed Hussein Rooble and Hassan Ali Khaire have strongly condemned the violent incidents that took place today in the Tarabuunka neighborhood of Hodan District, making serious accusations against the Somali government.<\/p>\n

Rooble, who issued a press release, described the incident as a national tragedy that can never be accepted. He strongly condemned the use of heavy weapons against civilians, describing the act as an affront to humanity, law, and the values of the Somali nation.<\/p>\n

Mohamed Hussein Rooble sent his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in this violence, and wished a speedy recovery to those injured. He also called for the immediate removal of government forces, whom he described as confused and causing trouble to the local community.<\/p>\n

Rooble clearly demanded that anyone responsible for the blood of civilians shed in this incident be brought to justice, so that justice is served and such acts are prevented from happening again.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, his predecessor, Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire, has fiercely accused the government of President Hassan Sheikh of engaging in land grabbing, and warned that the situation continuing in this way will undermine the stability of the country.<\/p>\n

“It is deeply saddening that the Somali National Army, trained to protect civilians and combat extremism, is today being used on the orders of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to kill civilians, seize public land, and displace vulnerable and destitute families,” Kheyre said in a statement on his social media.<\/p>\n

“I once again call on President Hassan Sheikh to immediately stop the illegal land grabbing, killings of civilians, and the displacement of poor people living in the capital,” he continued.<\/p>\n

The situation in Tarabuunka has raised serious concerns among the public and political leadership, highlighting the urgent need for peace dialogue and restraint.<\/p>\n
