The Jubbaland administration has made it clear that it has no interest in the decisions of the National Consultative Council meeting that concluded in Mogadishu.<\/p>\n

Jubbaland Information Minister, Abdifitah Mohamed Mukhtaar, described the points of the meeting as not adding anything and not changing the situation in Jubbaland.<\/p>\n

The National Consultative Council called last night for the Federal Ministry of Interior to issue a legal proposal to address the situation in Jubbaland, in order to achieve a state with full legitimacy.<\/p>\n

This statement has sparked a strong reaction, with many politicians describing it as an attempt by the Federal Government to eliminate the Jubbaland administration and establish another replacement administration.<\/p>\n

Member of the Somali Parliament, Abdiladif Sanyare, strongly criticized the Federal Government, accusing it of a political invasion of Jubbaland.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Jubbaland state government needs to be seriously prepared. An invasion is coming from the Federal Government, which has clearly deviated from the path of statehood, is a threat to the unity and solidarity of the country, and is trampling on the federal system,\u201d said MP Sanyare.<\/p>\n

Jubbaland has previously announced that it has withdrawn cooperation with the Federal Government, accusing it of operating like a private company limited to the Banadir Region.<\/p>\n

Jubbaland President Ahmed Mohamed Islam (Ahmed Madoobe), for his part, said that any decision made by the Federal Government will not have any impact on the existence of Jubbaland.<\/p>\n
