Reports from the Middle Shabelle region indicate that a large number of local defense forces known as the Macawisleyda are heading towards the Alkowsar area of \u200b\u200bthe region.<\/p>\n

These forces are planning to liberate the Alkowsar area, which is currently under the control of the Al-Shabaab group.<\/p>\n

Officials from the Macawisleyda forces who spoke to the media vowed that the defense forces will liberate the Alkowsar area of \u200b\u200bthe Middle Shabelle region in the coming hours.<\/p>\n

This area is one of the key areas in the Middle Shabelle region that is under the control of the Al-Shabaab group, and there have been several battles and shelling in the area, causing heavy losses to Al-Shabaab.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, reports indicate that last night, warplanes carried out heavy airstrikes in the Alkowsar area, especially at a meeting place where leaders and militia members of the group were holding, and there were casualties and injuries to Al-Shabaab, although there has been no official statement from the government regarding these strikes.<\/p>\n
