The Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mukhtar Robow Ali Abu Mansur, along with some Somali scholars, spoke today about the operations to eradicate the Al-Shabaab group from the country.<\/p>\n

The Minister, who held a press conference for the media in Mogadishu, first of all stated firmly that the Al-Shabaab group\u2019s power is not what it used to be, and that it does not have the power to capture Mogadishu.<\/p>\n

Minister Robow also pointed out that the Al-Shabaab group cannot be compared to the group that captured Syria led by Ahmed Sharaa.<\/p>\n

\u201cMogadishu is not Kabul, it is not Damascus, and Ahmed is not your Ahmed Diriye, he is not like Ahmed Sharaa, someone who does not allow anyone to interact with him cannot rule a country, I tell them that, all that is needed is for the Khawarij to unite and to fight each other,\u201d said the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Mukhtar Robow Ali.<\/p>\n

Minister Robow also indicated that the Ministry and the scholars, who are united, stand by the national and local forces in the fight to eradicate Al-Shabaab.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs I speak to you, they kidnapped my brother\u2019s daughter in the month of Sha\u2019ban. She was breastfeeding a 5-month-old baby and left her alone. They are ruthless. That proves it. I say to the ruthless, fear Allah and repent for what you are doing,\u201d said Minister Mukhtar Robow.<\/p>\n

Sheekh Ali Wajiis, one of the Somali scholars who spoke at the press conference, said for his part The fight against Al-Shabaab is to stand up for the government and the people to liberate the country from the group that has lied about the religion and good customs of Islam.<\/p>\n

Finally, the Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs and other scholars at a press conference praised the achievements of the Somali National Army and the local people in the fight to liberate the country from Al-Shabaab.<\/p>\n
