The Jubbaland forces in Baladhawo district of Gedo region have joined the Somali forces according to a meeting presented to these forces.<\/p>\n
The commander of the 10th battalion, the 43rd division of the Somali National Army and the deputy governor of Baladhaawo district, who spoke to the troops, told them that from today their rights are due to the federal government, saying that they will be accepted.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, the Jubbaland administration has denied that troops from their administration have joined the government. Jubbaland’s security minister, General Yusuf Hussein Osman (Dhumal), said that the government forces are tribal militias and soldiers trained in Eritrea who fled from the government.<\/p>\n
General Dhumaal accused the Federal Government of mobilizing militias and military officers who were former members of the Jubbaland army, which he said are being used to destroy Jubbaland.<\/p>\n
