The Cabinet of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia held an urgent meeting last night at its headquarters in Mogadishu and approved several agreements that the Government of Somalia entered into with the countries of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and South Korea.<\/p>\n

The Council meeting chaired by the Prime Minister of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, the Council approved the draft law on international judicial cooperation, a memorandum of understanding between Somalia and Qatar on cooperation in agriculture, the African Convention on the Rights and Education of Children, and an agreement on recruitment of workers between Somalia and Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

The meeting of the Somali Council of Ministers was also implemented in the agreement on the transfer of prisoners of war that was entered into by the government of South Korea.<\/p>\n

The meeting of the Assembly was also discussed about the general security of the country and the operations against the Al-Shabaab group in some regions of the country.<\/p>\n

Finally, in this emergency meeting held last night, the government also opposed the election that took place in Kismayo last night in which Ahmed Madobe was re-elected as the president of Jubbaland, and the government ordered that Ahmed Madobe be prosecuted, which is related to violating the rules of national elections and violation of the country’s political agreements.<\/p>\n
