The Somali police chief, Brigadier General Asad Osman Abdullahi, received from the Japanese government modern equipment for the police, especially in the mine detection department.<\/p>\n

This equipment is said to be part of the plan to develop and enhance the prevention of explosive devices, and the forum where this equipment was handed over was also present by the Director General of the Ministry of Internal Security of Somalia, Yusuf Ali Mohamed.<\/p>\n

The Commander of the Somali Police Force, Brigadier General Asad Osman Abdullahi, thanked the Japanese government for the equipment it donated to the police force, especially the Mine Detection Unit, noting that this equipment is a means of preventing explosives that are causing problems for the Somali people.<\/p>\n

“This action is part of the plan to develop and enhance the ability to prevent explosive devices, as this part was trained by the United Nations Mine Investigation Agency (UNMAS),” said a statement from the Somali Police Command.<\/p>\n

Finally, the government of Japan is one of the governments that support the federal government of Somalia in terms of raising the army and also the development of Somalia.<\/p>\n
