The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, congratulated the elected President of Somaliland, Abdirahman Irro, on his victory in the general election in Somaliland, and said that Irro is required to work on the issues of reviving the dialogue between Somalia and Somaliland.<\/p>\n

Hassan Sheikh also congratulated the deputy of Iro Mohamed Aw-Ali Abdi and the parties; Waddani, Kaah and Kulmiye in the results of the election, he praised the maturity and understanding of governance shown by the Somaliland community.<\/p>\n

The President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud assured the elected President of Somaliland Abdirahman Irro that the Federal Government of Somalia is committed to the completion of bilateral reconciliation negotiations, which is important for the development and unity of the Somali people.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamsa Abdi Barre, sent a congratulatory message to the elected President of Somaliland, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi Irro, who won the Presidential election.<\/p>\n
