Puntland administration president Said Abdullahi Deni said that they are supporting Jubbaland president Ahmed Madobe to hold an independent election for his administration.<\/p>\n

“I want to make it clear here that we are a support and shield for Jubbaland which has decided to hold its elections according to law and order. We urge the Jubbaland election committee to hold the Jubbaland election,” said President Deni.<\/p>\n

President Deni said that the Federal Government of Somalia does not have the constitutional authority to interfere in the elections of the member states of the Federal Government of Somalia, and he said that the leaders of Somalia are trying to suspend the constitutions of the regional governments.<\/p>\n

Deni said that the federal government does not want elections to be held in Somalia, he said that its plan is to extend the state governments for a period of one year, in order to legitimize its extension.<\/p>\n

He said that the country is facing danger, if the leaders of the government do not return to the framework of the law, he also called on the two houses of the parliament to discuss the situation the country is going through.<\/p>\n
