A press release issued by the ONLF said that the organization has suspended participation in the national negotiations in Ethiopia, as the organization accused the government of delaying the way to guide the negotiations.<\/p>\n

ONLF noted in their press release that the ruling Prosperity Party’s branch in Somalia has wrongly selected the participants of the national negotiations in Ethiopia, while also saying that the party violated the agreement made with the political parties in Ethiopia.<\/p>\n

ONLF also said that the negotiations at the national level in Ethiopia are missing important politicians from the Amhara, Oromo and Tigray regions, ONLF said that this negotiation will be one-sided and not inclusive can’t bring any hope, that’s how the ONLF said.<\/p>\n

At the end of this press release, ONLF said that ONLF is committed to serious dialogue, and the dialogue should be inclusive of all political parties and different sections of society, which can bring lasting peace in Ethiopia. As long as it is received, ONLF will not participate in this negotiation at the national level in Ethiopia.<\/p>\n

The ONLF press release is improving at a time when meetings are going on in Jigjiga city to gather agendas to participate in the negotiations, which were attended by officials from the federal level and the various sections of the community in Jigjiga city.<\/p>\n

The essence of the ONLF’s press release was that it rejected the way of guiding the negotiations at the national level in Ethiopia while the regions of Ethiopia are still going through long-standing wars and conflicts, and at the same time, important politicians from the regions where there are conflicts in Ethiopia are not included in the negotiation arena.<\/p>\n
