The Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development of the Federal Government of Somalia Mohamud Abdirahman Beane Beane said that the government of Somalia has succeeded in developing the economy and reducing poverty.<\/p>\n

Minister Beene Beene who spoke to the National Irrigation said that the government has focused on reducing poverty in the past two years, and it has been reduced by 15%.<\/p>\n

He also mentioned to the Minister of Planning that the country’s economic growth has been raised to 4.7 in terms of the standard of production.<\/p>\n

“During our two years in office, we have succeeded in reducing poverty and promoting economic growth, and this is due to the additional efforts of the government in this regard,” said Minister of Planning Mohamud Abdirahman Beene.<\/p>\n

The Minister of Planning of Somalia added that the government of Somalia is committed to giving priority to improving the country’s security, fighting poverty and developing the country’s economy.<\/p>\n
