The president of Galmudug administration, Ahmed Abdi Kariye Qor Qor, participated in a well-organized event held in Mogadishu, where the contract for the construction of Hobyo Port was signed.<\/p>\n

The event was also attended by Ministers and Members of Parliament of the Federal Government of Somalia and other officials of the two councils of the Galmudug administration, businessmen, politicians and various sections of society.<\/p>\n

President Ahmed Abdi Kariye Qorqor said that the construction of Hobyo Port is a long-cherished dream of the people of Galmudug, and he said that his administration is committed to the construction of economic infrastructure.<\/p>\n

“Ethiopia has a port, so Hobyo is open for good business. The problem will be solved soon. Hobyo port is one of the biggest ports in the country and will serve many cities in the country. I am happy after a long time. that our dreams come true” said President Qorqor.<\/p>\n

The President of Galmudug called on all businessmen and companies to invest in Hobyo Port and noted that the last agreement was signed today.<\/p>\n
