Taye Atskeselasse, who previously served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, was elected as the President of Ethiopia on Monday.<\/p>\n

Taye was appointed to this position after a meeting of the People’s Assembly and the Federal Assembly of Ethiopia.<\/p>\n

The new president of Ethiopia, Taye, is from the Amhara region of Ethiopia, which has been overshadowed by heavy fighting between the government forces and the Fano group.<\/p>\n

Taye has previously served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country, and he is now the sixth President of Ethiopia, replacing Sahle-Work Zewde, who was a woman from the same Amhara region where the new President is from.<\/p>\n

The political analysts of Ethiopia said that these days the outgoing President appeared to be tired of the presidency and wanted to step down, which later led to the normal resignation of Taye Atskeselasse today. The new president of Ethiopia<\/p>\n

Ethiopia is one of the countries where the Prime Minister has the highest power, while the President is usually a nominal person who usually does not contribute to the internal affairs of Ethiopia.<\/p>\n
