The Minister of Defense of the Federal Government of Somalia, Abduqadir Mohamed Noor, strongly responded to the statement made yesterday by the President of the South West, Abdicasis Laftagareen, and praised the MPs who recently showed support for the people of the South West who refused to remove Ethiopia from there and send troops from Egypt. .<\/p>\n

Minister Abduqadir Mohamed Noor Jama said in a long post on his Facebook page that the people of the South West will never be subordinated to a historical enemy.<\/p>\n

He also mentioned to the Minister that the SYL Organization was a symbolic organization for the existence of the Somali nation, and while representing the South West MPs in the Somali Parliament, who have recently attracted the attention of the people of the South West, he told them that the seats they are sitting on are honorable seats.<\/p>\n

The very long statement of the Minister of Defense of Somalia has come hours after the President of the South West administration gave a speech yesterday in which he mentioned the same legends as those of the SYL MPs who recently became angry with the people of the South West who refuse to expel Ethiopia from their areas. .<\/p>\n

THE SOVEREIGNTY OF THE SOMALI NATIONALITY<\/p>\n

Our first duty today and at all times for the generations after us is to create a united, free and resourceful Somalia.<\/p>\n

We can be forgiven for everything else that we fail, but our duty is to hand over the trust that our ancestors handed down to us in a complete and clean manner.<\/p>\n

No one has the right to abuse the sovereignty, unity and interests of the Somali nation.<\/p>\n

It is a special honor for me and others like me to seek politics and service to the nation that we followed in the fields of struggle, fighting for independence, and resisting the foreign enemies of the Somali nation.<\/p>\n

The history of the defense of the Somali nation is a surrendering weapon, which has gone through stages. and we are determined to leave the spark of national defense alive for the generations after us.<\/p>\n

In particular, I am talking to my people from the Bay, Bakool and Lower Shabelle areas, we can never be subjected to a historical enemy that our ancestors refused to invade our land and colonize our people.<\/p>\n

Abdul Qadir Sakhawadin Sh Uweys, who was the son of Tunni, a Digil from the southwest, was the founder of SYL and the leader of the 13 fighters who led the modern independence movement.<\/p>\n

SYL is a symbol of independence, standards and a glorious history that must be preserved. I remind the parliamentarians and politicians from the South West that the seats they are sitting on are public seats with an honorable history that should be specially protected. We are sitting on seats whose real owners are Abdulkadir Sakhaawadin, Mohamed Osman Barbe, Haji Mohamed Hussein and countless fighters who are the fathers of the historical struggle for the defense of the Somali nation.<\/p>\n

I am happy that many men and women who are aware of South West politics today have the knowledge and understanding to that level. But we all have a duty to stand up to anyone who pollutes our beautiful history.<\/p>\n

The areas of South West Somalia, and the noble people of Daga, we cannot take anything that harms their historical reputation, and deviates from the series of their independence-seeking history. And each one of us should have that feeling and act on it.<\/p>\n

As we have learned from history, the South West and its people will never be a welcoming place for the historical enemies of our nation.<\/p>\n
