The forces of Somalia and the local people are conducting the latest operations against the Al-Shabaab group in parts of Hiran and Middle Shabelle regions.<\/p>\n

The military operations against Al-Shabaab are going on especially in the western regions of Hiran and Shabelle, which are still controlled by Al-Shabaab.<\/p>\n

The spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of the Federal Government of Somalia, Sheikh Abukar Macalin Mohamud, told the media that the final preparations are underway and the operation to free the group from the two regions will soon begin.<\/p>\n

“The army is determined to take control of the areas that are not in the control of the government to deliver the government services that the community there needs,” said the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of Somalia, Sheikh Abukar Macalin Mohamud.<\/p>\n

Finally, the mobilization in West Hiraan and the Middle Shabelle is coming, as these two regions were the first to start the insurgency against Al-Shabaab, which has now spread throughout the country.<\/p>\n
