A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been published on Somaliland’s rejection of the arrival of Turkish troops. The government of Somaliland has said that Turkey cannot bring troops to its shores.<\/p>\n

“The government of Somaliland strongly opposes bringing troops to the recognized coasts of Somaliland, which are clearly mentioned in international law and are important for the territorial independence of the Republic of Somaliland,” the statement said.<\/p>\n
