At least five people were killed in an explosion outside a tea restaurant in Boondeere district of Mogadishu, according to the police.<\/p>\n

The people who died and those who were injured in the explosion were watching the match between Spain and England, before a car filled with explosives exploded in the venue where the game was being watched, said Abdifitah Adan Hassan, the police spokesman.<\/p>\n

Police spokesman said at least 20 other people were injured in the attack.<\/p>\n

Photos taken from the scene showed a fire in front of the Top Coffee restaurant after the explosion.<\/p>\n

“Some of the people watching were injured when they tried to jump from the wall of the restaurant, others were injured by falling,” said one of the witnesses at the scene of the incident.<\/p>\n

He said that most of the people who were injured in the explosion were on the road at the time of the explosion.<\/p>\n
