The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Nebyu Tedla, described the accusation of the Somali government that Ethiopian troops illegally crossed into Somalia as baseless.<\/p>\n

“There is nothing wrong with that. As you know in Somalia, we have ATMIS and non-ATMIS forces. This is no different. We spoke with the senior officers of our army in the area,” said the spokesman of the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nebyu Tedla.<\/p>\n

Spokesperson Nebyu Tedla added that the army was the one who is working to prevent the security threats that may be facing the country.<\/p>\n

“The information they shared with us is no different than before. It was a routine move to prevent a security threat that may have happened in the past,” said Spokesman Nebyu Tedla.<\/p>\n
