The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who is in Norway, gave a speech to the Somali community in the country that touched on many aspects of the country’s general situation.<\/p>\n

In his speech, the president talked about issues such as security, politics, the development of the country, the constitution and the fight against Al-Shabaab in some regions of the country.<\/p>\n

He continued the president’s speech on the country’s security, noting that his government has focused on fighting Al-Shabaab and pointed out that the Somali government has achieved considerable success in that regard.<\/p>\n

“The liberation of the country, the completion of the Constitution and the strengthening of the federalization of the country are the activities that go hand in hand. the war to be cleared from the country” said President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.<\/p>\n

The president also asked the community of Norway to show their role in the fight against Al-Shabaab group and he pointed out that now their part is falling.<\/p>\n

Hassan Sheikh Mohamud also gave an explanation to the Norwegian community about the strong debates that have arisen on the issues of amending the country’s Constitution, pointing out that the work on the Constitution will never be stopped and his debate has been going on for 12 years.<\/p>\n

“Discussion and consultation do not kill the Constitution. 12 years is not enough time for us to discuss the Constitution. We are the people. The Provisional Constitution is the Constitution. It was composed of 15 chapters. It is the same 15 that we have prepared. , 12-years we are not satisfied with the debate.<\/p>\n

The people who still trust me should continue to debate and continue for another 12-years, Somali people we have brothers and sisters, time has not died for us,” said President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.<\/p>\n

Finally, the Norwegian community has promised the president of Somalia that they will support his government in the fight against Al-Shabaab in the country as a whole.<\/p>\n
