These three governments also said that they hope other Western countries will follow suit and recognize Palestine as a state, and this decision by these three governments has caused Israel to call its ambassadors to Ireland, Spain and Norway. .<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sanchez, who spoke about the recognition of his government in Palestine, said that this step is aimed at accelerating the efforts to ensure a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.<\/p>\n

“We hope that our identity and our reasons will contribute to other western countries to follow that path, because the more we meet, the more we will have the ability to establish a ceasefire, to release the hostages of Hamas, so that to start the political process that can lead to a peace agreement” he said in a speech in the lower house of the country.<\/p>\n
