The number of families displaced by the floods caused by the Shabelle River is increasing in the neighborhoods of Baledweyne, the capital of Hiran region.<\/p>\n

Parts of the neighborhoods of Bundaweyne and Howlwadaag were heavily displaced last night and this morning, after the river broke through the branches of Doonsubagle and Farah Geri in the neighborhoods of Bundaweyn and Howlwadaag.<\/p>\n

The two neighborhoods that were displaced from the floods last night and this morning were the ones whose prospects were very good in the past few days and it is worth noting that most of those two neighborhoods are still inhabited.<\/p>\n

In Baledweyne, there is still a fear of the Shabelle River’s water, which is getting stronger and more and more neighborhoods are being displaced.<\/p>\n

It has been six months since the worst flood ever hit the city of Baledweyne at the end of last year 2023, and it is worth noting that this flood has come again, while the people of Baledweyne have not yet recovered from the suffering of the previous flood.<\/p>\n
