<\/p>\nThe Somaliland Electoral Commission has announced that the presidential and political party elections will be held on November 13, 2024.<\/p>\n
The chairman of the Electoral Commission, Muse Hassan Yusuf, who is surrounded by other members of the committee, announced the time the committee decided to hold the elections.<\/p>\n
“The commission has decided that the election of the president, vice president and national party elections will be held on 13 November 2024,” said the chairman.<\/p>\n
He said that only the three existing parties will compete in the presidential election.<\/p>\n
He said that the three political parties in Kulmiye, UCID and Waddani and 10 new political organizations will compete in the election.<\/p>\n
He added that on Saturday, the Electoral Commission has submitted the letter to the President specifying the time of the elections so that the President can make an official announcement.<\/p>\n
