The forces of the federal government of Somalia with the help of international friends have carried out a planned operation in the areas of Ali Yabal, Qalan Qal and Sumadale, all under the Eeldheer district of the Galgaduud region.<\/p>\n

The operation was said to have been carried out by the cooperating forces in the wild areas in the areas where members of the Al-Shabaab group were gathering.<\/p>\n

Officials from the government forces have confirmed that 23 of the Al-Shabaab militants who were gathering there were killed in those operations, and the officials also said that the group’s injuries exceed 20 million.<\/p>\n

In the areas where the operations were carried out, the officials said that they are now occupied by the Federal Government forces and the local people.<\/p>\n

The government forces and the local people, known as Maawisleyda, have been fighting with the Al-Shabaab group for a long time in the areas where they are located in Galgaduud and Mudug regions of Galmudug administration.<\/p>\n
