Fawsiya Yusuf Haji Aden, one of the representatives of the People’s Assembly of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, announced today that she is a candidate for the position of the African Union president.<\/p>\n

MP. Fowsiya Yusuf who held a press conference today in Mogadishu said that she is ready to run for the position of African Union chairman whose election will be held on February 25 in the coming year 2025.<\/p>\n

She said that holding this position is a great benefit for her and the Somali people in general, and Somalia deserves to hold high positions.<\/p>\n

Fowsiya Yusuf Haji Aden Qabile is a scholar from a family with a political history in Somalia, he is a former diplomat who became the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somalia and Chairman of the National Democratic Party NDP , who can win many member states of the African Union as soon as they agree on his candidacy for the Presidency. , the government and the Parliamentary Councils of Somalia, therefore hoping for success in carrying out that role if Allah is allowed.<\/p>\n
