The finance ministers of the federal government and the regional governments gathered for a long-term meeting to discuss the development of the country’s financial system, after Somalia was forgiven its debts.
The ministers agreed that there is a need to bring new plans to develop the economy of Somalia and the job creation process in the country.
The ministers also asked about the new phase of development projects in the country.
In the middle of December, Somalia was forgiven its debts, which helps the country get new funding to boost the country’s economy.
The International Monetary Fund (MF) has said that Somalia is receiving foreign funding to invest in key areas such as education and job creation to improve the lives of Somalis.
