The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, today paid a visit to the Hiilweyye camp where the military stabilization force such as the Polizia militare is located between Mogadishu and Balcad.
Prime Minister Hamse who was talking to the peacekeeping forces in the camp said that the Somali people are indebted to the peacekeeping forces for ensuring the security of the capital Mogadishu in a short period of time.
He also pointed out to the prime minister that Mogadishu today is similar to other capitals in the world in terms of security, noting that this is due to the efforts of the army to deal with all the problems that have been a problem in the general security of Mogadishu.
“I came to you to acknowledge your talent and blood that you sacrificed for your country, especially the national capital, I thank you for changing the face of Mogadishu. The day you arrived was the last of the ugly face of this city, which came because of your sacrifice and bravery,” said Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre.
Prime Minister Hamse, while in the Hiil-Weyne camp, discussed the acceleration of security in the capital with the security agencies and the Banadir Regional Administration.
The inspection by the Prime Minister of Somalia today at the Hiilweyye camp comes as the security of the capital city of Mogadishu has improved significantly in recent times.
