The Council of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia held an emergency meeting today in Mogadishu to discuss the impact of the heavy rains and floods that are falling in many parts of the country, and the meeting was chaired by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
The Prime Minister of the Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, first gave the president a report on the ongoing emergency, saying that his government has appointed a national committee to deal with the problems caused by the floods and floods that have affected the Somali people.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who spoke at the meeting, praised the Federal Government for its efforts to rescue the Somali people, and asked the Government to redouble its operations.
President Hassan Sheikh has also called on the Somali people to avoid dangerous places, such as pits and drainage areas.
The meeting of the Council also passed a Regulation on the Financial Transactions Verification System and Communication Quality Assurance, which aims to manage all matters related to the monitoring and maintenance of transactions and the quality of services of the country’s Telecommunications Companies.
In conclusion, the chairman of Banadir region, who is the mayor of Mogadishu, Yusuf Hussein Jimale, who participated in this urgent meeting, gave the Cabinet a report on the impact of the rains in Banadir region and the efforts related to this issue by the administration of Banadir region.
