The commander of the 18th battalion of the Eagle army, Lieutenant Colonel Hassan Adan Mohamed Hassan Iraqi, told the national media that the purpose of the Eagle army was deployed to Raskambooni to ensure the security of the Jubbaland areas that have been vacated by the ATMIS forces, especially those in Kenya.
“The aim of the army is to take over all the places where ATMIS has left. We have a duty to ensure the security of the country as a whole. We must remove Al-Shabaab from the country,” said the commander of the 18th brigade of the Eagle army, Lieutenant Colonel Hassan Adan Mohamed Iraqi. .
