A group armed with pistols today shot four young businessmen in their business premises in the Yaqshiid district of Mogadishu.
Of the four people who were shot, three of them were said to have died, while the fourth person was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
The killing of these young businessmen was said to be related to their business shops being closed with CCTV cameras, which the government ordered to be closed in business areas in Mogadishu, and Al-Shabaab strongly opposes this.
Police and security forces arrived at the business premises where the three businessmen were killed, and it was pointed out that the forces failed to arrest the group that committed the murder.
In Mogadishu, there has been a significant increase in the targeting of businesses in recent days, which are connected to CCTV cameras ordered by the government, and it is worth noting that dozens of people, mostly young men, have been killed because of the cameras .
