The government of Somalia strongly condemned the attack on the Turkish space industry (TUSAS) in Kahramankazan, Ankara, which caused various damages.
A press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Somalia said that this attack is a setback for international peace and security.
“Terrorism, in any form, is a serious threat to the stability of nations and the safety of people everywhere. “Somalia, which has been fighting terrorism for a long time, deeply sympathizes with its Turkish brothers and shares the grief,” said the news.
On the other hand, the President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh, who contacted the President of Turkey by telephone, expressed his condolences for the suffering of his people in this attack.
The government praised the quick response of the Turkish security forces, saying that it is confident that those behind the attack will be held accountable.
Somalia said it is committed to continue its cooperation with Turkey and the international community in the fight against terrorism. That partnership is based on commitment to peace.
