The Chairman of the Upper House of the Federal Parliament of Somalia Abdi Hashi Abdullahi and the Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama today reached an agreement on the dispute between them in the past few days.

In a statement issued by Governor Abdi Hashi Abdullahi, it is said that he resigned as the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government after suggestions that he said came from the parties involved, and he announced that Salah Ahmed Jama will continue his work as a senator.

Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama said in a statement that the dispute between him and Governor Abdi Hashi has ended and he will continue to serve as a senator.

The conflict between the two officials was a result of an action taken by the governor, Abdi Hashi Abdullahi, who should have announced that Senator Salah Ahmed Jama could not attend the sessions of the Upper House Council, and lost his membership of the seat he was sitting on. in front of most of the members of the House of Representatives and the Deputy Prime Minister himself.

The statements from the offices of the Speaker of the Upper House and the Deputy Prime Minister of the country also thanked the officials who intervened to end the conflict between the two officials.
